Working Group on Modelling and Evaluation for Sustainability

WG-MES, the Working Group on Modelling and Evaluation for Sustainability, is a multi-society based endeavour, initiated by SETAC. Specific involvement is from ISIE, ISEE and SETAC, while broader involvement as from economics, welfare theory and decision theory is actively sollicited.

Three meetings took place so far.

WG-MES has as a subject how to consistently combine socio-economic and environmental modelling with evaluation for sustainability, reckoning with the diverging and sometimes conflicting approaches in this field.
